NORDLAND — A petition to have Jefferson County Public Utility District No. 1 build a water system on Marrowstone Island was ruled invalid during a utility district meeting Wednesday night.
But proponents say they won’t have any trouble getting the required 10 percent of the parcel owners to sign again.
“It’ll be no problem,” said water system proponent Scott Cassill, a Marrowstone resident. “It just means we’ll have to go through the whole thing again.”
