Nominees named for United Way awards

PORT ANGELES — United Way of Clallam County has announced the nominees for its 2025 Live United awards.

The winners will be announced during the Live United Prom on April 26 at the 7 Cedars Casino in Blyn.

The awards highlight individuals and organizations in the community who are making a lasting impact through professional influence, personal commitment or volunteer efforts.

Awards will be made in three categories:

The nominees for the Healthy Community award are Healthy Families of Clallam County, the North Olympic Healthcare Network and Peninsula Behavior Health.

The Youth Opportunity categories are the Boys & Girls Clubs of the Olympic Peninsula, Peninsula Dispute Resolution Center and the Port Angeles School District.

Nominees for the Financial Stability award are Peninsula College, the Sequim Food Bank and St. Andrew’s Place Assisted Living.

In addition to the Live United awards, the United Way will honor Campaign Volunteer Tonya Holman, board volunteer Lara Stanton, community volunteer Jeremy Gilchrist, Employee Giving Forks Community Hospital and Community-Minded Business Sound Community Bank.
