PORT ANGELES — The DAV van will not go to the Seattle Veterans Administration Hospital if there is ice or snow reported on the roads.
Riders who are scheduled will be notified by the drivers when travel is not advised, and the DAV will help reschedule appointments.

Bank names its employee of the month at branch
PORT ANGELES — Cindy Chisnall of Kitsap Bank’s Port Angeles branch has been named Employee of the third quarter of 2015.
Chisnall joined Kitsap Bank in January 2005.
She was selected for this award for her “outstanding professionalism and willingness to work in partnership with others, and her desire to share her wealth of knowledge in support of her team,” according to a news release.
“Cindy’s professionalism and her passion for teamwork and collaboration make her a valuable resource not only at the Port Angeles banch, but also at Kitsap Bank,” said Steve Politakis, chief executive officer.

Member meeting
SEQUIM — The Co-op Farm & Garden True Value, 216 E. Washington St., will hold a stockholder member meeting at 7 p.m. Monday, Jan. 18.
The agenda includes the election of two board members and reports from the accounting firm Leffel, Otis, and Warwick P.S., Certified Public Accountants.
The co-op management team will provide updates about the store.

Personnel changes
SEQUIM — Personnel changes have been made at Ben’s Bikes, 1251 W. Washington St.
Kaylee Ditlefsen has been promoted to marketing manager, Thomas Cole will be operations manager and Wendell Wallace is promoted to service manager.
Ben’s Bikes is now a Ti-Trike dealer specializing in three-wheel recumbents for special needs customers.
Models include an electric assist, a hard cycle unit and a regular upright seat model.

Christmas meal set for Chimacum
CHIMACUM — About 285 meals were served at the Tri-Area Community Center on Christmas Day, organizers said.
Aout 210 meals were served to diners at the center at 10 West Valley Road while another 75 were given out as take-out, said Peter M. Leenhouts, president of the Rotary Club of East Jefferson County.
Rotarians Bill and Elena Kraut of Hadlock Building Supply and Rotary Club members co-sponsored the meal, which was supported by Olympic Peninsula Community Action Programs and cooked by Chef Gabe Santiago and Sous Chef Tim Wetherill.
Other free public feasts served on Christmas Day were at the Port Townsend Community Center, 620 Tyler St., where Jefferson Healthcare hospital donated food and the hospital’s chef, Arran Stark, led the cooking team, and at the Forks Community Center, 91 Maple Ave., where local churches donated food for the Feeding Five Thousand lunch.
