Spiritual classes

The Interfaith Community of Clallam County announced its schedule for the 2018 Spiritual Read Port Angeles and Sequim.

Starting Sunday, the public is invited to join the free events. Sign up is required for the groups and can be completed by emailing interfaithclallamcounty @gmail.com.

Your request and contact information will be directed to the facilitator for that group, event organizers said.

For those held in someone’s private home, call the associated number to get location details.

Attendees can gather valuable insights and practical advice about how to experience more joy and compassion in daily life through discussion of the book “The Book of Joy,” by Douglas Abrams, the 14th Dalai Lama and Archbishop Desmond Tutu.

There will also be practices each week to engage in to explore the concepts presented by passages in the book.
