Notification signs were placed in each lot Friday, the city said.

The work could be rescheduled in the event of high wind or rain.

Man sentenced

PORT ANGELES — Joshua J. Goudie, 27, of Port Angeles has been sentenced to 65 months in prison in a drug trafficking case.

Goudie, also known as Joshua Roaf, pleaded guilty in Clallam County Superior Court to two counts of delivery of heroin, according to a news release from the Clallam County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office.

Goudie delivered heroin to the Olympic Peninsula Narcotics Enforcement Team — once in January of 2016, then a second time in February, according to OPNET.

Both deliveries occurred in the city limits of Port Angeles.

Goudie, 27, grew up in Port Angeles, according to Det. Sgt. John Keegan, of the Clallam County Sheriff’s Office.

Goudie was sentenced Thursday.

Also known as Joshua Roaf, Goudie had pleaded guilty to selling a gram of heroin for $100 in January and a gram for $130 in February in Port Angeles to a member of OPNET, Keegan, OPNET supervisor, said Sunday.

Keegan said Goudie’s sentence was at the low end of sentencing for a person with his criminal history, which includes felony convictions for residential burglary, harassment, identity theft, possession of stolen property, theft and possession of a controlled substance.

“When he was arrested, he was found in possession of a shot‎gun,” Keegan said Sunday in an email.

“I can only assume that not trying him with unlawful possession of a firearm or any enhancement associated was part of the plea bargain, as I am sure the enhancement for him choosing to sell heroin in a school zone was also dismissed.”
