NEWS BRIEFS: Survey on Port Angeles master plan’s City Pier aspects closes at noon today . . . and other items

PORT ANGELES — A survey closes at noon today on possible aspects of a Port Angeles master plan for City Pier.

More than 70 people attended open house design studios May 12-14 to provide input on possibilities for City Pier.

Studio Cascade designers whittled comments down to two semifinal designs, which have been open for further public comment via an online survey.

The responses to the survey will be used to refine a single, final recommendation from the design team.

The survey and some of the public comments from the open house can be accessed from the Feiro Marine Life Center website at www.feiromarinelifecenter.org or directly at www.surveymonkey.com/r/M5VWVMC.
