PORT TOWNSEND — The Swedish Health Network annual symposium will convene in Port Townsend at 9 a.m. Friday.
The gathering for Swedish Health Network affiliates will be at the Northwest Maritime Center, 431 Water St.
Topics on the agenda are functional medicine, organizational updates, an advocacy discussion and physician engagement
Jefferson Healthcare, Olympic Medical Center in Port Angeles and Forks Community Hospital are members of the network.
Fire commissioners
PORT TOWNSEND — East Jefferson Fire-Rescue commissioners will meet in executive session at 1 p.m. today.
The meeting will be in the administration building at 24 Seton Road in Port Townsend.
The executive session is to evaluate the qualifications of an applicant for public employment or to review the performance of public safety personnel.
Action may or may not be taken.
PA School Board
PORT ANGELES — The Port Angeles School Board will consider adopting a hazard mitigation plan when it meets at 7 p.m. Thursday.
The board will meet at the Central Services Building, 216 E. Fourth St. An executive session is planned at 6:30 p.m.
The Federal Emergency Management Agency requires that a hazard mitigation plan be in place as a condition for mitigation project grants.
Special meeting
CHIMACUM — Jefferson County Parks & Recreation will convene for a special meeting at 11 a.m. today.
The meeting will be held at H.J. Carroll Park, 9884 state Highway 19.
The agenda includes the Parks, Recreation & Open Space plan table 7.1 and Capital Improvement Plan consolidation into one worksheet, nomination for the vice chair position and a resignation letter from Jane Storm.
