SILVERDALE — A Port Townsend women had been discharged from Harrison Medical Center on Saturday after being injured in a rollover wreck Friday on Newberry Hill Road.
Amber L. Wakefield, 25, had been taken to the hospital after her green 1997 Saturn continued straight where the road curved, rolled over and came to rest in a ditch shortly after 1 p.m., the State Patrol said.
State Patrol Trooper Nick Lull said Wakefield was cited for driving with her wheels off the roadway.
Neither alcohol nor drugs were involved. Wakefield’s car was destroyed, the State Patrol said.
Charter session
PORT ANGELES — Clallam County Democrats plan a session Wednesday on possible changes to the county’s charter.
The meeting will be from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at the Clallam County Democratic Headquarters at 124-A W. First St.
As the Charter Review Commission holds its second series of public hearings across the county, Commission members Selinda Barkhuis, Steve Burk, Nola Judd, Ted Miller and Norma Turner will discuss the work of the commission and take questions from the audience.
Clallam is one of seven counties in the state to operate under a home-rule charter. The commission will incorporate citizen input in developing potential charter amendments for voters to consider in the Nov. 3 election.
The commission met in Forks on Monday for the first of three public hearings this month. Other hearings will be June 15 in Sequim and June 29 in Port Angeles.
No practice set at naval air station
COUPEVILLE — There will be no field carrier landing practice operations for aircraft stationed at Naval Air Station Whidbey Island at the outlying field in Coupeville today through Saturday.
The schedule is subject to change to meet mission requirements.

Sockeye meeting
SEKIU — The public is invited to attend the Lake Ozette Sockeye Steering Committee meeting at the Sekiu Community Center, 42 Rice St., from 10:15 a.m. to 3:15 p.m. Tuesday.
Agenda topics will include updates on activities since the March meeting, reports on existing recovery projects and discussion about potential new projects, details for the fall 2015 predation workshop, updates on the resource management plan and five-year status review, public outreach and education strategies, project funding sources and future steering committee activities.
The committee helped develop the Lake Ozette Sockeye Salmon Recovery Plan and is providing input for its implementation.
The committee’s open membership includes landowners, interested citizens, timber companies and representatives from local, state, federal and tribal governments.

A suggested donation is $5 for those who are 60 or older.

Band concert set
SEQUIM — The Sequim High School Band spring concert will take place in the school’s auditorium, 601 N. Sequim Ave., at 7 p.m. Tuesday.
Admission is free and open to the public.
The concert is directed by Vern Fosket and features the concert band; wind, percussion and jazz ensembles; with a special appearance by the Color Guard, directed by Nancy Reis.

PORT ANGELES — Tidepools, the art, literature and music magazine of Peninsula College, will hold an awards ceremony and issue release in Port Angeles Library’s Raymond Carver Room, 2210 S. Peabody St., at 7 p.m. Friday.

Artists, musicians and writers from the new issue are invited to present their work.
