PORT LUDLOW — The Port Ludlow Art League’s Second Wednesday Artists’ Reception previously scheduled for last Wednesday has been rescheduled to take place this week.
The reception will be held from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. this Wednesday in the lobby of Sound Community Bank and the adjacent gallery, 9500-B Oak Bay Road.
This month’s featured artist is watercolorist and boat model builder Gary Griswold and the jeweler of the month is Georgeanne Muse.
Native plant sale
PORT ANGELES — The Clallam Conservation District is selling the remaining inventory of native plants from its annual sale until Monday, Feb. 25.
Orders can be placed online at www.clallamcd.org/plant-sale or at the district’s office, 228 W. First St., Suite H.
Plants will be available for pickup Saturday, March 2, at the Lazy J Tree Farm, 225 Gehrke Road.
Fundraiser supports ODT
PORT ANGELES — The Olympic Discovery Trail has teamed up with seven local bicycle shops for its annual bike tune-up fundraiser.
Tickets are $65 and can be redeemed for a bike tune-up at participating shops.
The participating shops donate their labor so 100 percent of the ticket price benefits the trail.
Tickets do not cover parts or additional services.

Applicants sought
PORT ANGELES — The city of Port Angeles is seeking applicants to fill seven vacant seats on the Lodging Tax Advisory Committee.
The committee advises the city council on activities or facilities that should be funded with lodging tax revenues.
The committee has two members who represent businesses that collect lodging taxes, two members who represent organizations who are funded by lodging taxes and three at-large community members.
The volunteer members serve one year terms.
The application form can be downloaded from www.tinyurl.com/PDN-Lodging-Tax or picked up from the city manager’s office in city hall, 321 E. Fifth St.
Applications must be returned to the city manager’s office by 5 p.m. Friday.
