Group discussion
SEQUIM — Author and interfaith minister George Lindamood will host “A Shared Exploration of the Second Half of Life,” a discussion group, at the Rainshadow Coffee Roasting Co. starting Wednesday morning.
There’s no charge to join the group, to meet at 10 a.m. at Rainshadow, 157 W. Cedar St.
When asked who should attend, Lindamood said: “Take your age and multiply it by two. If the resulting number is greater than the age you will probably die, you’re obviously in the second half of life, whether you like it or not, and this group is for you.”
Lindamood said he hopes to explore experiences, lessons learned and even defeats that have made the second half interesting for people.
His experiences include 42 years working in the information technology world, volunteering with AmeriCorps at Sequim Middle School, teaching English in China and playing trumpet and keyboards in local bands and churches.
For more information about Wednesday’s group, phone Lindamood at 360-681-3475 or email george@extraforma.com.
