BELLEVUE — Pili Meyer, of Coldwell Banker Uptown Realty in Port Angeles, was selected as Instructor of the Year by the Seattle King County Realtors.
Meyer was honored along with 10 other state realtors during the annual Realtors’ 2017 Installation & Awards Banquet.
Meyer, an associate broker at Coldwell, has taught numerous courses for professional designations on other topics, according to a news release.
Her career has spanned 30 years and she has been an active volunteer with Washington Realtors, as well as serving as the organization’s president in 2002.
According to the release, Meyer has been tapped to serve as the National Association of Realtors’ President’s liaison to the Czech Republic during 2018.

Unity speaker set for this Sunday in PA
PORT ANGELES — Unity in the Olympics’ 10:30 a.m. Sunday service speaker will be the Rev. Donna Little.
Her lesson at the church at 2917 E. Myrtle St. is titled “The Burning Bowl Ceremony.”
Little, a resident of Sequim, is a licensed and ordained Unity minister.
A time for silent meditation will be held from 10 a.m. to 10:15 a.m.
Child care is available during the service.
Singalong
SEQUIM — The public is invited to the 18th annual Community Singalong “Messiah” from 1 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. Saturday.
Attendees can either sing along or listen to selections from George Frederick Handel’s oratorio “Messiah” at Trinity United Methodist Church’s sanctuary, 100 S. Blake Ave.
An intermission with punch and cookies will be provided.
The event will also serve as an avenue to raise funds for area food banks, as well as the Port Angeles and Sequim Saint Vincent Depauls, according to a news release.
An anonymous couple will match each donation, according to the release.
