PORT ANGELES — The North Olympic Library System Board of Trustees will hold a second public hearing on the library’s draft 2017 operating budget during the board’s regular meeting, slated for today.
The public is invited to attend the 5:30 p.m. meeting at the Port Angeles Library, 2210 S. Peabody St.
The library’s budget for 2016 was $3,919,790, and the proposed budget for 2017 is $4,123,753.
Members of the public are encouraged to share their thoughts at the board meeting.

Wenner food drive
PORT ANGELES — Wenner-Davis & Associates Insurance will hold its third annual food drive now through Dec. 20 to benefit the Port Angeles Food Bank.
Donations can be dropped off at 102 E. First St., Mondays through Fridays, 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Those who donate will have a chance to win one of two gift cards.

PA financial adviser gets recognition
