LA PUSH — The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration’s (NOAA) Olympic Coast National Marine Sanctuary will host a joint meeting of its Sanctuary Advisory Council and the Olympic Coast Intergovernmental Policy Council in the Quileute Tribal Administration Office, West Wing, starting at 9:50 a.m. Friday.
The morning session of the meeting includes an interactive discussion between both councils focusing on topics of interest and priorities.
The afternoon session of the meeting will focus on the council’s internal affairs items such as discussion of the 2016 draft work plan, as well as a summary report on sanctuary vessel and field operations for 2015.
The meeting is open to the public, and there will be public comment periods at 12:25 p.m. and 3:05 p.m.
