ELLENSBURG — Several former Olympic Peninsula students were named to the Central Washington University Fall 2018 honor roll.
Undergraduate students who earn a 3.5 or better grade-point average on a 4.0 scale while carrying at least 12 graded credit hours of study are eligible for the honor roll.
The local students are:
• Beaver: Skyler Dematties.
• Forks: Andrew Reilly and Peyton Michael Rondeau.
• Port Angeles: Braedi Joi Michelle Brown, Derek Ross Hare, Savannah Mason, Grant Mills, Alexandra C. Peabody and Morgan Ann Reick.
• Port Hadlock: Nathaniel John Miller.
• Port Ludlow: Sean Miller.
• Port Townsend: Sarah Neville, Baili Jordan Shaw and Lauren Julia Taracka.
• Sequim: Miranda Rose Cays, Hayes Clawson, Anastasia Friend, Tristan Lashua, Zoe R. Owens-Clawson and Esther Sarah Smithlin.
New stylist hired at Port Angeles boutique
PORT ANGELES — Sassy Kat Salon & Boutique recently announced that Sarah Torey has joined its staff.
Torey will be available at the boutique Fridays.
Torey recently moved to the area from Southern California.
She has 15 years experience as a stylist in San Diego and Los Angeles.
Torey specializes in balayage, a process for painting dye onto hair to create a natural looking graduated effect.
