PORT ANGELES — The sanctuary of St. Andrew’s Episcopal Church, 510 E. Park Ave., will be open for personal prayer or shared quiet prayer on Inauguration Day from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. today.
This event is free and open to the public.
There will be sample prayers from The Book of Common Prayer and prayers offered by GreenFaith.
Participants can pray for the nation, elected officials, Earth and the community.

Unity service
PORT ANGELES — This Sunday, Unity in the Olympics’ 10:30 a.m. worship service will feature Tim West as guest speaker.
His lesson is “Arc of the Covenant.”
According to a news release: “For centuries, man has been on a quest for the Ark of the Covenant, depicted in many drawings, encapsulated in numerous stories and the movie ‘Raiders of the Lost Ark,’ by George Lucas and Steven Spielberg.
“What if you discovered that you were the one in possession of the Ark?”
West joined Unity as a member in November 2015 and is working on becoming a licensed Unity teacher.
A time for silent meditation will be held from 10 a.m. to 10:15 a.m.
Child care is available during the service.
Hospital speaker
SEQUIM — Sequim-Dungeness Hospital Guild’s speaker series and business meeting will be held Tuesday at 10 a.m. at St. Luke’s Episcopal Church community hall, 525 N. Fifth Ave.
The speaker event is free and open to the public.
The speaker, Mark Harvey, has worked more than 30 years in the area with senior citizens.
His talk will center around “vision” and how it can empower our lives.
After his talk, a short recess will follow before the guild’s business meeting.
Coffee and light refreshments will be served.
