SEQUIM — A fire damaged the bedroom of a Sequim residence, Clallam County Fire District No. 3 officials said.
The fire was reported at 171 W. Sequim Bay Road at 1:11 a.m. Tuesday.
“The fire was contained to the bedroom,” District No. 3 Assistant Chief Dan Orr said.
“It appears accidental at this time, but we’re still kind of poking down the road from an investigation perspective.”
Orr estimated that the blaze caused about $20,000 in damage to the structure and resulted in the loss of about $10,000 in property.
