The Daily Grind Espresso shops located at 1919 E. First St., Port Angeles, and 615 E. Washington St., Sequim, will participate in a customer appreciation day Jan. 15.
All of the espresso shops’ 16 ounce drinks will be $2, according to a press release.
The Sequim shop’s hours are 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. and the Port Angeles location’s hours are 4:30 a.m. to 7 p.m.
Candlelit Taize service at St. Luke’s
SEQUIM — All are welcome to the ecumenical Taize service at St. Luke’s Episcopal Church, 525 N. Fifth Ave., at 7 p.m. Monday.
There will be a meditative, candlelit atmosphere that includes singing simple, repetitive songs during the hour-long service.
Taize will continue to be held the fourth Monday of each month.
Unity speaker
PORT ANGELES — Unity in the Olympics’ 10:30 a.m. Sunday service speaker will be the Rev. Donna Little.
Her lesson at the church at 2917 E. Myrtle St. is titled “Spiritual Community.”
Little is a resident of Sequim and is a licensed and ordained Unity minister.
A time for silent meditation will be held from 10 a.m. to 10:15 a.m.
Child care is available during the service.
50th anniversary
PORT ANGELES — The congregation of Bethany Pentacostal Church will celebrate and honor Omer and Rita Vigoren’s 50th year of ministry at 2 p.m. Saturday.
The public is invited to attend the event at the church, 508 S. Francis St.
