Tami Ziegler received the Ruby Award this year, which honors women who through their professional and personal efforts make extraordinary differences in the lives of women and girls.
Ziegler was the first person to come to the aid of an out-of-town family who was stranded locally after an automobile wreck. She housed several of the family members, working with the city to collect funds to help them with their expenses and their trip back home.

And the Live your Dream Award of $1,000 went to Lilith Muth, which assists women who provide the primary source of financial support for their families by giving them resources to help improve their education skills and employment prospects.
Muth is interested in starting a nonprofit women’s recovery program in her town.
