PORT ANGELES — Olympic Peninsula Llama/Alpaca Rescue is offering photos with alpacas for a $10 donation Saturday from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
People will use their own phones or cameras for the photos.
A gazebo will be set up at the 105 W. First St. location, a press release said.
Living alone class
PORT ANGELES — Volunteer Hospice of Clallam County (VOHCC) will host a workshop from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. Wednesday.
The workshop, “Living Alone Now,” will be held at Hospice House, 810 S. Albert St.
The workshop facilitators are the Rev. Maggie Bourne-Raiswell and Debbie Smith, RN.
The workshop is designed for people who have suffered the loss of a life partner.
Class materials focus on self-care and overcoming the challenges of living alone.
The workshop is free, but space is limited so pre-registration is required by calling 360-452-1511.
VHOCC supports terminally ill patients and their families emotionally, physically and spiritually.
VHOCC does not charge for its services and does not bill any government agency, depending instead on private donations and bequests.

PORT ANGELES — Firefighters and emergency medical technicians from Clallam 2 Fire Rescue will collect donations for the Port Angeles Food Bank from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Nov. 17.
The collection will be in the parking lot at the Lincoln Street Safeway, 110 E. Third St.

RainShadow Chorale begins its season with 2 weekend shows
The RainShadow Chorale will begin its season with two performances of “All Sounds Become Music.”
The first performance will be at 4 p.m. Saturday at Trinity United Methodist Church, 609 Taylor St., Port Townsend.
This will be followed by another concert at 4 p.m. Sunday at Lutheran Church of the Redeemer, 45 Redeemer Way, Chimacum.
The program for the concerts includes lullabies and ancient chants, songs of nature and tender love songs, a Bach motet, folk songs and an opera chorus.
The suggested donation is $20 for adults, $10 for students.

Armistice service
PORT ANGELES — Rick Jaech will preach a tri-lingual service at 9:30 a.m. Sunday in memory of the Armistice centennial.
The service, in English, French and German, will be held at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, 301 E. Lopez Ave.
Jaech will also teach at a faith formation “Transforming Conflicts” at 11 a.m.
Participants will learn communication skills to help to transform conflicts from destructive to constructive experiences.
Healer’s Odyssey
PORT TOWNSEND — Saul Shaye will speak at 11 a.m. Sunday at Unity Port Townsend, 3918 San Juan Ave.
Shaye, a chiropractor and spiritual healer, will also present the workshop, “A Healer’s Odyssey” from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m.
