BRINNON — The Brinnon Parks & Recreation District commissioners will consider approving goals and scheduling a work session to develop a strategic plan when they meet at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday.
Commissioners will meet at the Brinnon Community Center, 306144 U.S. Highway 101.
They also will discuss a second summer program, such as a concert series, and establishing a volunteer program.
Thomsens take Agent of Month title
PORT ANGELES — Marc and Pat Thomsen, aka Team Thomsen, of Coldwell Banker Realty have been named Agent of the Month for February.
The designation is accomplished by producing the highest amount of business transactions in a month’s time, according to a news release.

Leadership award
PORT ANGELES — Andrew Rowe, an Olympic Medical Center respiratory care manager, received the organization’s leadership award at a recent management meeting.
Rowe is a steward of resources and has worked with pharmacy leadership to reduce the cost of respiratory medication treatment at the hospital, according to a news release.
He has improved outpatient capabilities in pulmonary therapy services, integrated new pulmonary function testing equipment into Epic — an electronic health record system — and developed stronger support for pulmonology specialists, according to the release.
