New roundabout to open on Highway 104

SHINE — Work crews will route traffic onto the new roundabout at Paradise Bay and Shine roads at 6 a.m. Friday.

The two-lane, metered roundabout is located on state Highway 104 just west of the Hood Canal Bridge.

Work is expected to continue on the project into the summer while crews complete work on the concrete islands and install the traffic meter.
