PORT ANGELES — Port Angeles native Brad Elmer has joined Hi-Caliber Gunsmithing, 903 W. Eighth St., Suite A.

Elmer recently received an Associate of Occupational Studies in gunsmithing after completing a 14-month course at the Colorado School of Trades.

He received additional training in stockmaking and metal finishing.

Elmer is an avid outdoorsman, spending much of his time away from work fishing and hunting in the West End.

“Ask us, we will probably be able to do it,” said owner John W. Treakle.

It has been open since 2005. For more information, phone Hi-Caliber at 360-417-6847.
