PORT ANGELES — Trishia Jacobs of Port Angeles has published her first book of antique ephemera, “Travel Labels Clip Art with CD.”
The book has 16 pages of vintage luggage labels from around the world (and one French postcard) which are ready to cut out and use in decoupage, collage or scrap-booking.
All of the labels and more are also found on the CD, for a total of more than a hundred copyright-free images.
The book costs $19.99 and is available at Art Supplies Unlimited, 118 W. First St., Port Angeles; Crafts Cottage, 1980 W. Sims Way, Port Townsend; and Java Moon Stamp Co., 334 W. Washington St., Sequim.
Jacobs is a special sections editor at the Peninsula Daily News.
She also owns FrenchKissed, a four-year-old online business which specializes in pre-World War I French ephemera, including real photos, hand-painted postcards, fashion prints, luggage and perfume labels.
Jacobs said she has two more ephemera books in the works.
They will be printed by Design Originals of Fort Worth, Texas, and will feature only postcards.
Jacobs has a collection of almost 10,000 French postcards.
