PORT ANGELES — The Peninsula Daily News welcomes Sarah Sharp as its new arts and general news reporter.
Sharp, 20, is a recent graduate of Western Washington University in Bellingham. As news editor for the university newspaper, The Western Front, she was awarded “best reporter” and “outstanding contributor” accolades from the journalism department and placed as a finalist twice in a regional feature writing competition.
Sharp also interned on The Northern Light in Blaine and worked as editor of the Lake Views Magazine in Bellingham.
In addition to general news assignments, she will cover arts and entertainment news throughout Clallam and Jefferson counties.
