PORT HADLOCK — Naval Magazine Indian Island will conduct security training exercises today, the Navy announced Wednesday.
The two exercises will be on base with one in the morning and one in the evening after dark, the Navy said in a press release.
Installation personnel and residents living near Indian Island could hear increased noise during the exercises, which will include the use of blank ammunition.
The Navy said that the exercises are standard procedure at installations across the world to ensure readiness and verify response procedures.
