PORT HADLOCK — Naval Magazine Indian Island has scheduled a training exercise for Tuesday.
Training activities will include the use of blank ammunition, loud sirens and bright blue flashing lights on installation property.
Residents living in the communities surrounding Indian Island and installation personnel could notice increased noise levels and activities associated with the training exercise.
Personnel participating in the exercise will comply with guidance from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and the Department of Defense by implementing proper physical distancing when practicable and wearing cloth masks as applicable.
The Navy said it conducts these types of security exercises at installations across the world to ensure readiness and verify response procedures.
