Two 45-foot response boats and a 29-foot response boat from U.S. Coast Guard Station Port Angeles, plus local law enforcement, performed “touch and go” exercises early Tuesday afternoon during an armed passenger drill on the MV Coho passenger ferry.
Participating agencies were the Clallam County Sheriff’s Office, Clallam County Emergency Operations Center (EOC), PenCom, Port Angeles Police Department, Sequim Police Department, U.S. Coast Guard, Washington State Dept. of Fish and Wildlife Enforcement, Elwha Police Dept. and U.S. Border Patrol.
