A 51-year-old motorcyclist was unconscious, with a cut to the head, after a collision with a car on state Highway 112 near Nordstrom Road at about 5:55 p.m. today.
The 40-year-old driver of the car complained of neck and back pain and also was taken to OMC, said Lt. Chris Old of the State Patrol.
Old did not know the names of either of the men, both of whom are from Port Angeles, nor he know details of the wreck other than to say that the car ran into the bike.
He added that there was no reason to believe that alcohol or drugs were involved.
The collision has blocked both lanes of the highway, the state Department of Transportation said.
Transportation did not know how long the road would be blocked.
