PORT ANGELES — A 22-year-old man is in custody for investigation of possession of child pornography.
Shelby KC Scott Bush, 22, was booked Wednesday for investigation of possession of depictions of minors engaged in sexually explicit conduct in the first degree, a class B felony.
He remained in the Clallam County jail Thursday, with bond set at $8,100.
He was arrested in Adams County, where he was working at a carnival, said Detective Sgt. John Keegan of the Clallam County Sheriff’s Office.
The arrest followed an investigation of a computer left abandoned by Bush in March when he was asked to leave a residence in Solmar, a neighborhood between Port Angeles and Sequim, Keegan said.
Computer forensics detectives with the State Patrol found multiple depictions of children between 4 and 12 engaged in various sex acts, Keegan said.
During the course of their investigation, deputies learned that Bush was working in Adams County, Keegan added.
