PORT ANGELES — The city of Port Angeles announced this afternoon that a section of Race Street will be torn up starting at 7 a.m. Tuesday for installation of a new sewer main.
Northbound Race between First and Second streets will be closed for about five hours, City Hall said in a statement distributed after 3 p.m. today.
Northbound traffic will be detoured onto Washington Street. One lane will be open for southbound traffic.
