SEQUIM — Volunteer Hospice of Clallam County will host a “Living Alone Now” workshop from 1:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. Tuesday.
The free workshop will be at the Clallam County Public Utility District headquarters at 104 Hooker Road in Sequim.

The workshop is designed to assist those experiencing a recent transition to living alone due to loss of a loved one with consumer protection issues.
The workshop is designed to create understanding of the complex areas of fraud and identity theft and to give participants a chance to broaden their skills in self-advocacy and boundary-setting.
The workshop will be led by Karen Hallis, JD, CPC, attorney, mediator and former forensic custody investigator.
Hallis holds a bachelor’s in communications and is a certified professional life coach.
She has 10 years’ experience working with elder abuse, dying, grief and loss.
Volunteer Hospice of Clallam County (VHOCC) , operating with a team of registered nurses and trained volunteers, helps terminally ill patients and their families.
Ongoing grief support services and loan of medical equipment are also available to anyone in the community.
VHOCC does not charge for its services and does not bill any government agency, depending instead on private donations and bequests.
