LAVENDER WEEKEND WAFTS into Sequim starting Friday, and Jazz in the Alley celebrates its eighth year featuring Tracy Blume and Jazz in Blume at 219 W. Washington St., Sequim.

■ Today, the Port Townsend Concert on the Dock opens with the Toolshed Trio (George Rezendes, Dave Meis, David Conklin and Tomoki Sage) playing their electrified versions of American roots and country blues at Pope Marine Plaza in downtown Port Townsend from 4:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Free.
Attendees can bring picnics or find food to-go at local businesses.
■ On Friday, the Port Angeles Library, 2210 S. Peabody St., has a community sing-along led by local musicians Dan and Carrie Cobb and a campfire with marshmallows at 6:30 p.m. Free.
The firemen from Clallam County Fire District No. 2 will bring a truck for the children to see and to ask them questions.
■ On Saturday, there’s Jazz in the Alley in the BrokersGroup parking lot, 219 W. Washington St., Sequim, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m.
