…MUCH COLDER TEMPERATURES AND A CHANCE OF SPOTTY LOWLAND SNOW AT

TIMES THIS MORNING THROUGH THE WEEKEND…

SPOTTY LIGHT RAIN AND SNOW SHOWERS CONTINUE ACROSS WESTERN

WASHINGTON THIS MORNING…AS A DEEP UPPER LOW MOVES SLOWLY

SOUTHEAST ACROSS THE REGION. LOCAL SNOW ACCUMULATIONS OF AN INCH

ARE POSSIBLE THIS MORNING BEFORE DRIER AIR BEGINS MOVING IN FROM

THE NORTH THIS AFTERNOON.

HIGH TEMPERATURES WILL ONLY BE IN THE MID 30S TO LOWER 40S

TODAY…AND CLEARING SKIES TONIGHT WILL ALLOW OVERNIGHT LOWS

RANGING FROM THE UPPER TEENS IN THE NORTHWEST INTERIOR TO THE

LOWER 30S ALONG THE SOUTH WASHINGTON COAST. FRIDAY WILL BE A COOL

AND MOSTLY SUNNY DAY.

A WEAK WEATHER SYSTEM WILL MOVE THROUGH WESTERN WASHINGTON FROM

THE NORTHWEST SATURDAY AND SATURDAY NIGHT…WHILE A COLD AIR MASS

REMAINS IN PLACE. CONFIDENCE IS NOT VERY HIGH IN THE DETAILS OF

THIS SYSTEM. AT THIS TIME THOUGH…IT LOOKS LIKE IT COULD PRODUCE LOCAL

SNOWFALL OF UP TO 2 OR 3 INCHES IN THE WESTERN WASHINGTON LOWLANDS…

MAINLY SOUTH AND WEST OF SEATTLE.

This agave grew from the size of a baseball in the 1990s to the height of Isobel Johnston’s roof in 2020. She saw it bloom in 2023. Following her death last year, Clallam County Fire District 3 commissioners, who purchased the property on Fifth Avenue in 2015, agreed to sell it to support the building of a new Carlsborg fire station.
