Lauridsen bridge in Port Angeles closes Tuesday for tree work

PORT ANGELES — The Lauridsen Boulevard bridge over Peabody Creek at Race Street in Port Angeles will be closed to all through traffic from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. Tuesday.

The closure will allow the Clallam County Public Utility District to trim trees near power lines in that area, said Teresa Pierce, city spokeswoman.

Detours will be in place, she said.
