Launch party for 72-hour film challenge set next month

PORT ANGELES — Larmar and Studio Bob will host a 72-Hour Film Challenge starting with a launch party at 6 p.m. Aug. 7.

The challenge will be to create a short film that includes a specified character, prop and line of dialogue within 72 hours.

The elements will be revealed during the launch party, and the films must be turned in by midnight Aug. 12.

The films will be screened at 7 p.m. Aug. 15 at Studio Bob, 118 E. Front St., Port Angeles.

Admission to the screening will be by donation.
