Lane closure set Wednesday for art installation

PORT ANGELES — The southbound lane of Race Street in Port Angeles from Park Avenue to Lauridsen Boulevard will be closed from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Wednesday.

The lane closure will allow Bellingham artist Heather Dawn Sparks to install “metamorphosis” along the sidewalk separation barrier.

The installation, sponsored by the Port Angeles Uptown Arts District, began on Monday and is expected to continue through Thursday.
