OLYMPIC NATIONAL PARK — The National Park Service is seeking proposals from companies to oversee concessions at Kalaloch Lodge and Log Cabin Resort.
The present concession contracts will expire at the end of the year.
Site visits for those interested in applying for the contracts are set at 10 a.m. Thursday, May 19, for Kalaloch Lodge on the Pacific Coast and at 10 a.m. Friday, May 20, for Log Cabin Resort near Lake Crescent.
New concession contracts will be for 10 years.
The Park Service has issued a prospectus for a contract to provide overnight accommodations, food and beverage, retail and other services at Kalaloch Lodge and plans to issue one soon for the contract at Log Cabin Resort.
Aramark Leisure Services Inc. now oversees Kalaloch Lodge. Proposals are due by 4 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 4.
Log Cabin Resort Inc. oversees Log Cabin Resort. A deadline for proposals will be set after the prospectus is issued.

There is a printing cost recovery charge of $50 per copy for delivery via FedEx or $40 if picked up in person.
The prospectus also is available for review online at www.concessions.nps.gov/index.htm.
Those who access the prospectus online are asked to notify Gagliolo so they can be placed on a mailing list to receive notifications of future modifications and other correspondence.
Those interested in attending the site visit for Log Cabin Resort can contact Lisa Hilt, concession management specialist at the park, at 360-565-3007 or lisa_hilt@nps.gov for logistical information and to be included on the mailing list to be notified when the prospectus is released.
The Pacific West Regional Office is moving from Oakland, Calif., to San Francisco during the time period in which proposals are due.
Therefore, proposals for Kalaloch Lodge must be submitted to Golden Gate National Recreation Area rather than the address on the inside front cover of the prospectus.
