Juan de Fuca Festival offers music and more today and Monday

PORT ANGELES — The 26th annual Juan de Fuca Festival of the Arts continues today and Monday.

Daily tickets are $40 for today and $30 for Monday. Students with valid identification can purchase half-price tickets.

Children 12 and younger will be admitted free of charge.

On Memorial Day, each active-duty service member and each veteran will be given a 50 percent military discount on festival day passes.

The primary festival grounds are at the Vern Burton Community Center at 308 E. Fourth St., Port Angeles. There are the D.A. Davidson Main Stage, the Nancy Vivolo/7 Cedars Casino Chamber Stage and the festival ticket store, as well as art shows in the Vern Burton atrium and at the entrance to the Main Stage.

Outdoors at the Vern Burton center will be 12 food vendors and 42 artisans booths, as well as a Community Tent and free outdoor entertainment.

Other venues are at the Elks Naval Lodge at 131 E. First St. The Elwha River Casino Stage will be on the second floor of the lodge. The KONP Stage will be on the third floor.

Today’s concerts will begin at noon. Music on Monday will start at 11 a.m., with the final act at 4:15 p.m. At 11:45 a.m., a Memorial Day celebration is set on the Main Stage.

A free festival shuttle will loop around the venue sites — the Vern Burton Center and the parking lot across from the Elks lodge — from noon to 8 p.m. today.

Information is available at jffa.org.
