JOYCE — Clallam County election officials will count 795 ballots today for the Crescent School District’s proposed four-year, $1.31 million maintenance and operations levy.
Today is the deadline for balloting in the all-mail election.
First returns from the Clallam County Auditor’s Office are expected a few minutes after 8 p.m.
This is the third time in nearly a year that district officials have gone to voters asking for levy support.
“I am feeling good today,” School Board President Tracey Grover said Monday.
“We have been keeping track of the ballots coming in and making calls to encourage the voters to vote, and are now just waiting.”
