NOW THAT IT’S warmed up and you’ve been working in the yard or garden, mowing and weeding and rototilling, it’s time to take a break away, get out and enjoy some live music.
Before spring can be sprung next week, you’ll also have to get through all of the St. Paddy’s Day parties.

On Saturday, trespass because the Trespassers (Jim Lind, Gerald Pierce and Rudy Maxion) will be there to get you dancing from 9 p.m. to 1 a.m.
■ On Friday at the Junction Roadhouse, 242701 U.S. Highway 101, relive the era of the Golden Oldies of rock ’n’ roll and country with the Night Beats from 8 p.m. to midnight.
On Saturday, enjoy real country swing with Donn Allard and Renegade Train from Olympia playing from 9 p.m. to 1 a.m. $3 cover.

■ On Friday at Bar N9ne, 229 W. First St., it’s time again for 2FAR (Second Friday Art Walk) and the music of Locos Only, fronted by Kevin Lee Magner, Jeff Tocher and Mike Pace of the Soulshakers, will provide the visual artistry at 8 p.m. $3 cover to support the musicians and artists.
■ On Friday at the Fairmount Restaurant, 1127 W. U.S. Highway 101, Dave and Rosalie Secord and Luck of the Draw are joined by guest NBR (No Batteries Required) barbershop quartet from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.

■ Today in Club Seven lounge at 7 Cedars Casino, Blyn, the Soul Ducks will perform three dance sets beginning at 6 p.m. with rockabilly, Motown and rhythm and blues, launching the new live dance bands series on Thursdays in the lounge. No cover.

On Saturday, George Rezendes and the Toolshed Trio perform American roots, rock and country-blues from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.
On Monday, celebrate St. Paddy’s Day with two sets from the Northwest alt-folk and bluegrass string band Blackberry Bushes from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. No cover. The 9 p.m.-to-midnight show has a $5 cover (free to Main Street pub crawlers).
■ On Saturday at the Cellar Door, 940 Water St., Lowire play multilayered rhythms and funky grooves from 9 p.m. to midnight. $3 cover.

Band Lab is made up of six local teens mentored by Tim Halpin of Better Half that will perform alternately from 7 p.m. to 11 p.m.
Proceeds benefit Band Lab’s trip to Guatemala this summer with the Global Visionaries Youth Leadership Program. $10 for adults; $5 for kids.
■ On Saturday at the Sequim Elks Lodge, 143 Port Williams Road, the Old Sidekicks perform at a spaghetti dinner and fundraiser for Jerry Peterson, playing their country and gospel music between 5:30 p.m. and 7 p.m.
