PORT TOWNSEND –Three Jefferson County land use decisions that were appealed to a state hearings board have come back, shining a favorable light on the county’s work.
The final decisions and orders were issued over the past week by the Western Washington Growth Management Hearings Board for the Brinnon Sub-Area Plan, Glen Cove Limited Area of Intense Rural Development and the Tri-Area Urban Growth Area.
The hearings board rules on appealed land use decisions under the 1990 state Growth Management Act.
“We’re pretty happy about it,” planner Randy Kline said Wednesday.
