Ron Gregory has been re-elected chairman of the Jefferson County Republican Party and will be one of three county officers voting at the state meeting later this month.
This will be Gregory’s second consecutive full-time term.
Edel Sokol was re-elected to a fourth term as State Committee Woman, and Dan Youra is serving his first term as State Committee Man.
Gene Farr was elected 24th Legislative District chairman. He is serving his first term.
Gregory, Sokol and Youra will attend the state GOP meeting in Seatac on Jan. 21-22. There, officers and state committeemen and -women will be elected to represent the state on the national level.
Prior to the state convention, the Jefferson County GOP executive committee will conduct a planning meeting from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 18, at the Jefferson County Library, 620 Cedar Ave., Port Hadlock.
Anne Burkart has been serving as county vice chairwoman. An election for that position will be conducted later, Gregory said.
