THE CLALLAM COUNTY Fair is one of the highlights of summer on the North Olympic Peninsula.
It offers entertainment for the entire family — with an awesome carnival and kid zone, deep-fried everything, animal shows (don’t miss junior dog obedience and 4-H rabbit, cavy, poultry and small animal costume class), lots and lots of music, exhibitors, vendors and plenty of other activities.
Plus non-stop entertainment at the Grandstand — Draft Horse Show (6 p.m. Thursday), 4-H Western Games (9 a.m. Friday), Cavallo Equestrian Arts (3 p.m., 5 p.m. and 7 p.m. Friday), logging show (Noon on Saturday) and rodeo (Saturday at 5 p.m. and Sunday at noon) and, of course, DEMOLITION DERBY (!!!!!!) at 5 p.m. Sunday.
Read all about the upcoming fair attractions in the Clallam County Fair Guide, part of last Sunday’s Peninsula Daily News.
