Peninsula College will host a series of information sessions on a program that allows high school students to earn college credit.
The Running Start information nights will be conducted in Port Angeles, Port Townsend and Forks.
They are designed to provide prospective Running Start students and their parents with information about the program and how high school juniors and seniors can earn college credit tuition-free.
Port Angeles
Students and parents who wish to attend a Running Start information night on the main campus at 1502 E. Lauridsen Blvd. in Port Angeles can do so tonight (Wednesday night); Thursday, March 12; or Thursday, April 16.
Sessions begin at 7 p.m. and include a panel discussion among Running Start faculty and current students.
A campus tour will be offered at 6:30 p.m. for those wishing to participate.
The February and March information sessions and panel discussions will be in Maier Performance Hall, Room E-125.
The April information session will be in the Keegan lecture hall, Room M-125.
Port Townsend, Forks
The Running Start Information Night in Port Townsend is scheduled for 6 p.m. Thursday, April 9.
It will be conducted in the Fort Worden Schoolhouse, Room D.
The Forks session will be at 6 p.m. Thursday, March 26, at Peninsula College in Forks, Room 101.
