INDIAN ISLAND — The North Olympic Peninsula war protester who spent three weeks in Iraq last month sat down for her principles Monday.
And Anna Bachmann was arrested for blocking the entrance gate to Naval Magazine Indian Island, an act of civil disobedience she says she wanted.
Bachmann, 40, was one of 29 anti-war demonstrators who gathered outside the naval ordnance center just after 10 a.m.
