How to change garbage service in Port Angeles without change fee

PORT ANGELES — Beginning today and continuing through Dec. 6, city of Port Angeles residential garbage customers have the opportunity to change their garbage service without incurring the usual $30 change service fee.

Customers can choose weekly collection at $32.17/month, or every-other-week garbage collection at $20.35/month.

Yard waste service is optional and is $8.40/month.

Recycling service is offered at no additional charge.

The new rates are effective Jan. 1.

A special change service form is available at City Hall and on the city website at www.cityofpa.us.

Only customers requesting changes to their service need to return the completed form to the front counter in City Hall by Friday, Dec. 6.

Forms may also be deposited in the drop box outside or mailed to City Hall at P.O. Box 1150, Port Angeles, WA 98362.
