Noon, liturgy, including prose readings and poetry; 2 p.m., Haydn’s “Seven Last Words” performed by string quartet comprised of Kate Dean, JoDee Ahmann, Paul Cornaby and Fred Thompson; 3 p.m., Stations of the Cross.

The 7 p.m. Good Friday service will focus on Stations of the Cross.

Tenebrae, the Service of Darkness, at 7 p.m., calls to mind Jesus’ sacrifice on the cross and ends in silent anticipation of the resurrection.
This service will conclude the congregation’s Lenten study series “On the Psalms” with Psalm 22.
* Unity Of Port Townsend, meeting in the Masonic Temple, Jefferson and Van Buren, Port Townsend.
Celebration of the Path at 7 p.m. with a spiritual community of light honoring God, in whom we live, move, and have our being with peace, joy, and grace.
* Assembly of God Church, 81 Huckleberry Lane, Forks.
“Prince of Preachers,” 7 p.m. dramatization of the renowned 1800s diamond-in-the-rough evangelist and preacher Charles Haddon Spurgeon, addressing the crucifixion of Jesus and the triumph that came from what was intended to be a tragedy.
Former TV and motion picture actor Dave Richards will appear as Spurgeon.
There is no admission charge; all are welcome.

Great Vigil, April 10
* Grace Lutheran Church, 1120 Walker, Port Townsend.
At 9 p.m., The Great Vigil of Easter will be celebrated. as the first service of Easter. It will include the Pascal candle and lighting of the new fire, as well as baptism of new believers and renewal of baptismal vows.
This week only: no 5 p.m. Saturday service.
Easter Sunday, April 11
* Quilcene Community Easter Sunrise Service at Worthington’s Pond, across from the Presbyterian Church on East Columbia Street.
The 7 a.m. service will include a Resurrection Sunday message by the Rev. Steve Mandeville of Quilcene Assembly of God Church, prayer by the Rev. Becky Anderson of Quilcene First Presbyterian Church, and traditional and contemporary songs by local musicians.
* First Presbyterian Church, 294433 Highway 101, Quilcene.
Potluck brunch will follow the Community Sunrise Service at Worthington’s Pond.
Early worship service at 8:45 a.m. will include worship, special music and communion.
There will be no Sunday School.
Family Worship, at 11 a.m. will include nursery care and feature its message in music with the Easter Choir’s presentation of “Our God Reigns.”
Fellowship time, featuring traditional hot cross buns, is scheduled following the service.
