PORT ANGELES — Electrical power was restored by about 4:30 p.m. Friday to areas put in the dark by high winds, the Clallam County Public Utility District said.
Customers north of Port Angeles off Benson Road, customers east of Port Angeles off O’Brien Road and some customers in the Joyce Piedmont and East Beach areas were without power beginning at about 3 p.m., the PUD said.
About 760 customers lost power, the PUD said.
A separate power outage at 8:07 p.m. Friday affected 57 PUD customers near Black Diamond Road and Westridge Road, south of Port Angeles.
That outage was caused by a tree coming into contact with power lines, PUD officials said.
