SEQUIM — Harvest of Hope Wine &Dinner Gala, a benefit for cancer patients undergoing treatment at the Olympic Medical Cancer Center in Sequim, is set for Saturday.
Cocktails will begin at 5:30 p.m. and dinner will be served at 6:15 p.m. at Sunland Golf &Country Club, 109 Hilltop Drive in Sequim.
The ticket price is $135.
The 14th annual gala, hosted by the Olympic Medical Center Foundation, in conjunction with Seattle Cancer Care Alliance, will raise money for local cancer patients, providing services, programs and equipment.
The evening will feature chef Kathryn Kitts from The Sweet Beginning Café in Sequim. Harbinger Winery of Port Angeles will provide several of its award-winning wines.
Raffle tickets and live and silent auctions are planned.
Sample live auction items include a safari trip for two to South Africa; a week in Costa Rica; two meals a month for 12 months at The Oak Table Café and at Chestnut Cottage; a variety of “instant” wine cellars; a Peter Max painting and a photo by Gary Hamburgh; brew lessons and dinner at the Barhop Brewery in Port Angeles; and a one-week vacation in a one-bedroom condo in Los Cabos, Mexico.
