OLYMPIA — The Washington Student Achievement Council has announced that the 2020-2021 Guaranteed Education Tuition (GET) enrollment period ends Monday, May 31.
This year the unit price is $133; 100 units will cover the cost of one full year of resident undergraduate tuition and state-mandated fees at the state’s highest-priced public university.
GET units have the same monetary value when used for a public university, a local community college or technical school, a private university or a college in another state.
Unlike some 529 plans, GET units are not subject to variations in the stock market and are guaranteed by RCW 28B.95.050.
The council also manages the state’s Dream Ahead College Investment Plan.
